Wrong Cocoon

Wrong Cocoon

Sometimes you feel perfect.
Sometimes everything feels right.
Sometimes you feel happy.
Sometimes the world shines bright.

But do you think everything is truly good?
Do you think all things are correct?
Do you think all are equal?
Do you think all are beautiful?

Everything is unique.
Everything seems full of joy.
Everything was created with purpose.
Everything appears so normal — to some.

Are you walking the right path?
Are you sure God makes no mistakes?
Are you living in the right body?
Are you in love with the right person?

The world is unfair.
The world is far from perfect.
The world doesn’t feel like home.
The world isn’t equal.

Am I broken?
Am I wrong?
Am I human?
Am I enough?

Sometimes, I hide the truth.
Sometimes, I feel like giving up.
Sometimes, I deceive myself.
Sometimes, I’m dying inside.

This body feels like a prison.
This body doesn’t feel like mine.
This body is rejected.
This body carries shame.

I was born in the wrong cocoon,
Yet from the right mother.
Born on the wrong earth,
Yet carrying the right gift.

Please — stop staring at me.
Please — stop judging me.
Please — stop speaking about me.
Please… just stop.
